Dennis Saleh has published five books of poetry including First Z Poems (Bieler, 1980) and 100 Chameleons (New Rivers Press, 1977). His last book of poems won the first chapbook competition from Willamette River Books: This Is Not Surrealism (Willamette River Books, 1993). He has also edited a book of contemporary American poetry, Just What the Country Needs: Another Poetry Anthology (Wadsworth,1971). His poetry, prose and artwork appears widely in publications including Blackbird, Earth’s Daughters, Interim, International Poetry Review, Paintbrush and Psychological Perspectives and in new poetry anthologies, Reeds and Rough Places Plain. With his own press, Comma Books, Dennis has done two books in co-imprint editions: Science Fiction Gold: Film Classics of the 50s (Comma/McCraw-Hill, 1979) and Rock Art: The Golden Age of Record Album Covers (Comma/Ballantine, 1977).
